Mercury Prize 2012 winners Alt-J have been announced as one of the artist soundtracking a revamped series of idents for the BBC Two and BBC Two HD channels.
Instrumentals of tracks from their award-winning album An Awesome Wave, namely ‘Something Good’, ‘Intro’ and ‘Fitzpleasure’ will feature on the station recently awarded “Channel of the Year” from this week.
The idents are available to preview, in the video below.
This announcement comes ahead of the band’s May tour dates, which can be viewed below, as well as upcoming appearances at T in the Park, Latitude, and a headline slot at Reading and Leeds on the NME/Radio 1 stage.
