AIM Awards announces details of 2014 event
The Association of Independent Music (AIM) Awards have confirmed that this year’s event will take place on 2 September.
The ceremony, held at the Brewery in Clerkenwell, will be hosted by new presenters John Kennedy (XFM) and Alice Levine (BBC Radio 1) this time round.
“After the success of so many independent artists in 2013, we are looking forward to another year when the independents triumph,” said AIM chairman Alison Wenham. “The AIM Awards is the only music show to give British artists a stage uncluttered by American acts, and to shine a spotlight on the truly brilliant British independent record industry.”
