Brazilian band Aglomerou's livestream interrupted by shootout
Yesterday (26 July), Brazilian band Aglomerou hosted a livestream that was interrupted by armed police storming the property.
Aglomerou were performing a cover of "Compasso do Amor" by Grupo Revelação when armed police entered the garden of the property in Angra dos Reis, Brazil, yesterday (26 July) afternoon.
In the video clip, the lead vocalist can be seen singing while armed police enter the garden. The song is abruptly ended right before gunshots can be heard, and the band quickly unplug their instruments and microphones while police secure the area. More gunshots can be heard, followed by a low-flying helicopter.
The band crawl away from the stage area of the garden to seek refuge from the gunfire.
G1 reports that the operation was a confidential investigation by the Homicide Police Department of Baixada Fluminense. The Civil Police said in a statement that the target of the operation was situated in a neighbouring property, where a party was being held. The Civil Police also explained they interrupted Aglomerou's performance "to prevent someone from being injured during the action".

There's also a second video circulating on social media that occurs just after Aglomerou's live performance stream ended, which features more gunfire and the helicopter. G1 reports that the voice in the video can be heard shouting a potential error, "Ricardo, it is the other house. It is the other house. It is the other party house."
Following the interruption, Aglomerou shared a clip updating fans on the incident, confirming that the band members were unharmed. The lead vocalist João Victor explained that the band had nothing to do with the police operation, and that the police were focused on a neighbouring property. He said in the video, "Guys, we’re fine. It’s okay. A police operation is taking place in a house very close to [this] space. So, this fact occurred, but everyone is fine. There is no connection with the space. There is no problem with whom I was here inside the live. That’s it. It’s all right. We’re going to reschedule the live [performance] because we’re kind of out of the mood to do it."
