Adele and Paul Epworth helped James Bond win its first Oscar award in 47 years.
Adele’s title-track to the new Bond film Skyfall picked up ‘Best Original song’ at the Academy Awards which took place last night (24 February).
Skyfall also won ‘Best Original score’ thanks to Mychael Danna.
It was the first win since Thunderball won ‘Best Sound effects’ back in 1965.
Adele gave a live version of ‘Skyfall’ to the Oscars audience, while Dame Shirley Bassey also performed, delivering a rendition of ‘Goldfinger’ to celebrate 50 years of the Bond franchise.
