Adele starts work on new album, but says she's “out of the loop” with music
Record-breaking singer, Adele has revealed that she’s started work on the follow-up to Diamond-selling album 21 (pictured above).
The British songstress, who won ‘ Best Pop Solo Performance’ at the Grammys last weekend, told reporters after the ceremony that she is still in the early stages of what will persumably be called 24 or 25 (depending on her age when it finally surfaces).
“I’m not very far along at all,” she told reporters. “I’ve been in L.A. for the whole time since the Globes, and I will be until the Oscars. I’ve been having lots of meetings.”
Adele also admitted at feeling “out of the loop” with music recently, after having her first child last year.
“I’ve been out of the loop really. I’ve been singing my baby nursery rhymes, so I don’t really know what’s cool and what’s not. I’m definitely going to visit Paul Epworth and stuff like that again.”
Adele will perform Bond theme ‘Skyfall’ at the Oscars on 24 February.
