
Adele breaks Spotify's single day streaming record with "Easy On Me"
Spotify has confirmed that Adele's comeback single "Easy On Me" has broken the record for the biggest single-day streams in the platform's history.
Last Friday (15 October) Adele made her long-awaited comeback with "Easy On Me", the first outing from her upcoming fourth album 30.
The song has since broken records on Spotify and Amazon Music, shattering BTS' record for the most streams on the platform in the first day.

According to Spotify, "Easy On Me" gained over 19.7 million streams in the first 24 hours of release, nearly double what BTS achieved for "Butter" in May (over 11 million).
On Saturday (16 October) Amazon confirmed that Adele broke a similar record with the song, with the most first-day Alexa song requests in Amazon Music history.
