A rare live album by David Bowie has been confirmed for release on Record Store Day this year.

Bowie's forthcoming I'm Only Dancing (The Soul Tour 74) live album will include previously unreleased tapes from Nashville and Detroit shows in 1974.

It'll be released on Record Store Day alongside ChangesNowBowie, a nine-track album that was recorded for radio and broadcast by the BBC on David’s 50th birthday on 8 January 1997.

The only song missing from I'm Only Dancing (The Soul Tour 74) is the performance of "Diamond Dogs" in Detroit on 20 October 1974, which was only partly recorded. Instead, Parlophone will be adding encores from the 30 November 1974 Nashville performance.

The forthcoming album will also include Bowie's cover of Rolling Stones’ "It’s Only Rock and Roll", which has previously only been available as a bootleg.

David Bowie's I'm Only Dancing (The Soul Tour 74) and ChangesNowBowie will be released via Parlophone on 18 April, aka Record Store Day.
