4AD signs Indians, debut album expected early 2013
After spending the summer months touring across Europe and North America opening for the likes of Beirut, Lower Dens, Savages, Retribution Gospel Choir and Bear In Heaven, Indians – the nom de plume of one Søren Løkke Juul – has inked a deal with independent heavyweight 4AD.
Having self-released debut single ‘Magic Kids’ back in April, the Copenhagen based artist is expected to release a debut full length in early 2013. No doubt a taster of what we can expect will be revealed in the not too distant future but, for now, enjoy this 15 minute long 4AD Session which sees Søren and band perform three songs against the stunning backdrop of Osea Island in Essex.
Catch Indians on September 27 at London’s Sebright Arms alongside Glass Animals. Head here for details.
