10,000 capacity venue to open in North London
A new 10,000 capacity venue is opening in North London this summer.
The Drumsheds, made up of four interlinked warehouses and 10 acres of outdoor space, has been bought by Broadwick Venues, who also own Printworks and Exhibition London.
Located next to Tottenham Marshes, the huge new venue will launch by hosting this year's Field Day, which has relocated from Brockwell Park in South London.
A new Network Rail Overground train station, Meridian Water, will open next month to accommodate the influx of visitors to the new venue, with links to Liverpool Street and Stratford.

Speaking about the new venue, Broadwick Venues Managing Director, Bradley Thompson said, "The Drumsheds is Broadwick Venues' most ambitious project to date and a huge boost for the capital; multiple warehouse spaces, the largest of which has 10,000 plus capacity, along with a ten-acre outdoor festival space, complete with a late night license - unprecedented in London. It epitomises both Broadwick Venues' dedication to quality, innovation and creativity, and Meridian Water's commitment to be a true 24-hour destination. We’re confident that people will be as blown away by it as we are."
Field Day 2019 will see performances from Skepta, Jorja Smith, Death Grips, Bonobo, Octavian, Flohio, and many more over two days in June.
