ladylike unveil new single, "Fresh Linen"
Folk-rock quartet ladylike have released their new single, "Fresh Linen", the latest track from their upcoming debut EP, It’s A Pleasure Of Mine, to Know You’re Fine.
"Fresh Linen" follows the ladylike's signing to Heist or Hit announced next month, as well as the reveal of their debut EP and lead track "Rome (in progress)".
Discussing the new single, the band explain: "It felt incredibly natural to create. It showcases us as individuals, yet when we play the song live, we merge and immerse ourselves into one big machine. A very odd machine, that's constantly evolving, but it's churning and chugging on with life. There's no set inspiration or sound we were trying to create; it's very much just a reflection on how we felt over a series of days writing it.
"Lyrically, it feels the most personal track on the EP, but the words also feed into the band machine. I can fully immerse myself in this one and look forward to every time we play it."
It’s A Pleasure Of Mine, to Know You’re Fine is released on 13 March via Heist or Hit
