Kristen Stewart set to direct three boygenius music videos
After announcing their debut album the record last week, it's been revealed that three of boygenius' music videos are due to be directed by Kristen Stewart.
Last week boygenius, the supergroup of Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker, returned with news of their debut album the record, and also treated fans to three tracks from their first album - "$20", "Emily I'm Sorry" and "True Blue".
According to a new piece by Rolling Stone that highlights the "most fun details that didn't make it into the supergroup's Rolling Stone cover story," they're expected to work with Kristen Stewart as a director for three of their music videos.
Stewart, known for her roles in Twilight, Spencer, On The Road and many more, previously directed Chvrches' "Down Side of Me" video, Sage + The Saints' "Take Me To The South" video, a short film titled Come Swim, and one episode of 2020's Homemade series.
the record is produced and written by boygenius, and was recorded at Rick Rubin's Shangri-La Studios in Malibu, California.
boygenius' debut album the record will arrive via Polydor / Interscope Records on 31 March, and is available to pre-order now.
