
King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard play “Flight b741!” with Songs For Kids Band
King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard recently performed at the Fabulous Fox Theatre in Atlanta, accompanied by the Songs For Kids Band.
The Songs For Kids Band is a non-profit organisation that provides music mentorship and interactive programmes for children and young adults with disabilities illnesses. The performance was part of their 'Young' series, which has also featured the likes of Goose, My Morning Jacket, and Backstreet Boys.
Since 2019, the Songs For Kids Centre in Atlanta, has been available for kids and adults up to the age of 39, with illnesses, injuries, and disabilities, putting an emphasis on "the power of teamwork and support for each other, bringing together kids that would otherwise be on a more solitary journey."
