King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard release "Alien Metal", the title track from their upcoming EDM album
King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard have shared "Alien Metal", the title track and latest reveal from their upcoming album, Alien Metal, due later this summer via p(doom) records.
"Alien Metal" follows lead single "Level 5" as the second taster of the band's twenty-eighth album, which was written and recorded entirely on their modular synth set-up (fondly named "Nathan"), which they took out for their live rave shows. The track delves deeper into their exploration of darker electronic music, following previous ventures into everything from metal to synth-rock.
The band have also announced a run of Australian tour dates taking place in October, following their sold-out Field Of Vision festival in August, three headline shows at New York’s Forest Hills Stadium, and a rave show in Brooklyn.
