Killer Mike releases "Run" remix featuring Damian Marley
Killer Mike – best known as one half of hip-hop duo Run The Jewels – has shared a new version of the track "Run", which features a collaboration with Damian Marley.
The original version of "Run" was released back in July 2022 as the lead single from Killer Mike’s acclaimed album, Michael. An ode to perseverance, the song is inspired by Black excellence in the face of systemic adversity and the intrinsic role that Black people have had in shaping America’s culture and economy.
The new incarnation of "Run" both features and is produced by Damian Marley – reggae royalty and son of Bob Marley. The accompanying video was shot in Miami.
