Kevin Copeland announces debut solo album, Only Love Songs
Vermont-based producer Kevin Copeland has announced his debut album, Only Love Songs, and shared new single, “Hotel Bar”.
Copeland’s first solo outing follows years of work with artists including Allegra Krieger, Lily Seabird, Hannah Frances, and more, and his project The Big Net. “Hotel Bar” is the latest preview of the album, following “Stay”.
Only Love Songs features contributions from Big Net members Logan Miley (bass) and Andrew Emge (drums) who assisted in guiding Copeland’s personal approach to the songs. Across eleven tracks, the album sees him explore the idea that “tomorrow is possible”, and “suffering is just one factor in an economy of emotion”.
