KAWALA are calling it quits after almost a decade
North London five-piece KAWALA have announced that their forthcoming tour will be their last.
"After a near decade of Kawala, we have decided to make the truly heart-breaking decision that after our February tour, we will be hanging up our boots," they wrote in a statement via Instagram. "There's a world of reasons why we've landed here and believe us when we say we haven't taken this decision lightly."
They went on to say that they will go into further details at a later date, but "truthfully we just feel tired, a little burnt out & desperately in need of a break in order to work out what the future holds."
The band's final release, Kawala Collection, consists of nine tracks including "American Adrenaline", "What’s Up", 'Time Slipping Away" and "Old Me"; taking listeners on a sonic journey and showcasing the band at their very best.
KAWALA prepare to embark on their biggest ever UK tour in 2025, with shows in Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Dublin, and a performance at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire.
Kawala Collection is set for release on 24 January. For more information on their live dates, visit kawalaofficial.com.
