JOY (Anonymous) announce bank holiday Weekend of JOY
British electronic duo JOY (Anonymous) have announced Weekend of JOY – the series of London-based events which will take place across the Easter Bank Holiday Weekend.
Weekend of JOY comprises four events aimed to create shared experiences that uplift and connect people. Kicking off with a panel at The Bathhouse in Hackney Wick on 18 April, the duo will be joined by London-based Somali artist FaceSoul and Pro, Founder of Daytimers and co-founder of Dialled In, the South Asian creative collective, to dissect why community is essential in our current creative landscape.
The following day, JOY (Anonymous) will bring their rave, Joyous People, to The Cause. Following their monumental Glastonbury Shangri-La Nowhere stage takeover last year, which included explosive B2B’s with Todd Edwards, Sammy Virji and Redlight, to name a few, JOY (Anonymous) will enlist established and emerging DJ’s to join them for epic B2B sets, unleashing the big joy energy from last Summer’s EP of the same name.
To take things back to the very origins of their sound and live experience, JOY (Anonymous) will perform a special, stripped-back performance of their 2021 debut album Human Again on 20 April at EartH Theatre. An audible and atmospheric dichotomy, complementing their Joyous People all-day rave, Human Again Re:imagined will display the duo’s artistry on stage, showcasing their songs in a new light for the first time.
Tickets will go on sale this Friday at 10am GMT. Visit joyanonymous.com for more information.
