Jorja Smith returns with "The Way I Love You"
British singer Jorja Smith has returned with her first single of 2025, "The Way I Love You".
“The Way I Love You is just so much fun. It takes me back in time - there’s something nostalgic about it but now at the same time. I had the pleasure of working with Maverick Sabre, Ed Thomas and Shayk on this one. Every time I play it with my girls, I get so hyped – it’s a proper head-skanker,” Jorja Smith says of the record.
The single arrives alongside a new video directed by KC Locke, which sees Jorja Smith in her rave era, channeling the track’s energy and nostalgia through nightlife scenes. The video also pays homage to the Niche Night Club in Sheffield – a cornerstone of the Midlands bassline scene – with a direct nod to its iconic logo.
The track follows her recent feature on AJ Tracey’s "Crush", as well as her collaborations with Shygirl and Major League DJz. Later this year, Jorja Smith will embark on a seven-date UK tour, including two nights at Manchester’s O2 Apollo, before the tour concludes with three nights at London’s prestigious Eventim Apollo.
