Joe & The Shitboys return with second new single, "PLEASE SEEK HELP"
The Faroe Islands punk band Joe & The Shitboys have returned with the new single, "PLEASE SEEK HELP".
Singer Fríði Djurhuus AKA Joe explains: “While Joe & The Shitboys lyrics tend to be full of irony, PLEASE SEEK HELP is a straight forward call for people to fix their shit. I'm pointing the finger at everyone, by basing the lyrics on my own struggles with mental health and insecurities. Taking care of your mind is too often ignored in people's pursuit of the ideal life. You don't have to struggle as much as you currently are. Take the next step. Talk to someone. Talk to a professional. You are worth something.”
The track follows "MR. NOBOBY" which was the first new music from Joe & The Shitboys since their 2020 debut, The Reson For Hardcore Vibes, and 2021 follow up, The Reson For Hardcore Vibes (Again).
Joe & The Shitboys head back to the UK next month for The Great Escape festival in Brighton, and now announce new dates joining C.O.F.F.I.N + JJUUJJUU at Moth Club for a Wide Awake pre-party presented by Bad Vibrations and with Full Flower Moon Band at Shacklewell Arms in London and a slot at the Deadpunk Special in Bristol.
