Jess Williamson offers new single "Chasing Spirits"
Jess Williamson shares another taste of her forthcoming album, Hunter.
Following on from the title track, which was released last month, Williamson shares "Chasing Spirits" which is the second single to be taken from Hunter.
""Chasing Spirits" opens with a question: are my love songs lies now that the love is gone? You can write a deeply devotional love song about a partner and then one day break up. In that same vein, the title of this song has multiple interpretations. Chasing spirits can be a way of trying to connect with supernatural entities or one’s own higher self, and also, you order spirits at the bar or pick them up at the liquor store, maybe with a chaser,” Williamson explains.
Time Ain’t Accidental will follow Williamson's 2020 solo album Sorceress and 2018's Cosmic Wink.
Last year, Williamson and Katie Crutchfield of Waxahatchee released I Walked With You A Ways under the moniker Plains.
Time Ain't Accidental will arrive via Mexican Summer on 9 June, and is available to pre-order now.
