Jerub returns with new single, “Stay”
Nottingham singer-songwriter Jerub has shared his new single, “Stay”, his first new music of 2026.
“Stay” arrives after the success of Jerub’s single “Kumbaya” released last October, and his mixtape The Wonder Years which dropped just a month later.
Speaking about the song, Jerub says: “‘Stay’ lives in that space where your fears and doubts lead you to run away before things feel too vulnerable and the deepest, most real parts of you are seen. ‘It’s broken but it’s right’ feels like the heart of the song.
“Perfection isn’t real. We all come with history, insecurities, old wounds. And love, in any form, isn’t about fixing those things. It’s about choosing each other anyway. Keeping the lights on. Letting the music play. Saying stay, not because it’s flawless, but because it’s honest.”
