Jeff Tweedy shared a cover of Low and Dirty Three's "I Hear... Goodnight" in memory of Low's Mimi Parker, who died over the weekend.
Yesterday (6 November) Mimi Parker's husband and Low bandmate Alan Sparhawk revealed on socials that "she passed away last night, surrounded by family and love, including yours." Parker was 55, and had been diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2020.
The likes of El-P, Steve Albini, Mogwai's Stuart Braithwaite, Okkervil River's Will Sheff, Ben Watt and more paid tribute to Parker on Twitter, and Jeff Tweedy honoured the late musician via his Starship Casual Substack yesterday with a cover of Low and Dirty Three's "I Hear... Goodnight".
