Janus Rasmussen, GRIMA, UpperMall Rats! and more join Iceland Airwaves line-up

The Iceland Airwaves line-up has now expanded to 107 artists with the newly announced acts. Faroe Islands-born, Reykjavík-based producer Janus Rasmussen — who is also one half of acclaimed electronic duo KIASMOS alongside Ólafur Arnalds — will be joining the FMX (Faroe Music Export), while Music NWT (Northwest Territories) will feature Canadian slacker-rock band Upper Mall Rats.

The Spanish Wave presents German-Spanish post-punk artist GRIMA, Madrid-based producer and UK garage, house, hardgroove, techno and drum & bass DJ PATATAONSTEREO, Valencian pop, electronica and darkwave artist and producer RUVENRUVEN, and SUNTRAP, the duo of Barcelona producer Martí Canales and South London artist Jamie Taylor.

Now with a complete line-up, Iceland Ariwaves is set to take place across seven venues over three days. The showcase will host a range of artists from several countries, including Adult DVD, PISS, Formal Sppeedwear, Liim, Dove Ellis, Sex Week, and more international acts, alongside local talent.
