JADE navigates jealousy on new single, "Plastic Box"
JADE has made a return with "Plastic Box" serving as the latest preview of her forthcoming debut solo album, THAT’S SHOWBIZ BABY!.
Written by JADE with GRADES and Lauren Aquilina and co-produced by Oscar Görres, the track is about jealousy and irrational emotion, as JADE explains: "Plastic Box is about that irrational and toxic insecurity within us when we think about our partner's previous relationships, even though we know everyone has a past. It’s a happy-sad pop song and one of my favourite songs I've ever written."
THAT'S SHOWBIZ BABY! sees JADE work with a variety of collaborators on the project including Mike Sabath, Lostboy, Cirkut, RAYE and Pablo Bowman. JADE will hit the road in October and November of this year visiting Dublin, Belfast, Brighton, Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds, Birmingham and Newcastle, before finishing at London's Roundhouse.
THAT'S SHOWBIZ BABY! will be released on 12 September. Pre-orders are available now via jadeofficial.com.
