Ipswich Town FC reveal "blackout third kit" designed with Ed Sheeran
Ipswich Town FC have unveiled their "blackout third kit" for the 2022/23 season, which was designed with help from Ed Sheeran.
After signing a one-year deal to be the shirt sponsor for Ipswich Town FC's men's and women's first teams in the 2021/22 season, Sheeran has collaborated with the club to design their "blackout third kit" for the 2022/23 season.
The new black and grey kit features Sheeran's album title symbols with the word "Tour" underneath.
BBC reports that Sheeran said he wanted it to be "a cool bit of clothing people around the world would want to wear."
Paul Macro, the head of retail operations at Ipswich Town said, "We thought it would be great to get Ed involved in the design of our third kit."
He added, "Ed loved the final designs and it's great to finally show off this collaboration to our supporters."
The Ipswich Town FC blackout third kit is available to pre-order now from itfcshop.com.
