Insecure Men tease second album with "Cleaning Bricks"

04 November 2025, 10:32 | Written by Tyler Damara Kelly

Insecure Men, the South London band led by Saul Adamczewski, have shared "Cleaning Bricks" as the final single from their second album, A Man For All Seasons.

"I’ve had this song since before the Fat Whites. Me and Nathan (Saoudi, Fat White Family keyboard player) had a job at Camberwell Grove where we used to have to go and wipe the cement off a huge pile of old London bricks. We’d just sing this chorus song about cleaning bricks. But over the years, people kept saying it was really catchy. I always thought it was a joke. Every time I’d see (producer and Speedy Wunderground label head) Dan Carey, he’d say: have you done that Cleaning Bricks song yet? I’m glad I did it because it sounds pretty good. It’s a pop song, it’s fun. I wanted it to be like Jessie’s Girl. Real cheese but good cheese," Adamczewski says of the track.

Also, having played a launch show at the Horse Hospital in London in September, Insecure Men head out on a run of solo / stripped down in-store shows later this week. The dates include a sold-out appearance at London’s Rough Trade East and recently announced Dash The Henge in-store.

A Man For All Seasons will be released on 7 November via Fat Possum, and is available to pre-order now.
