Imogen Heap and Jon Hopkins team up for new track, "Reckoning"

Imogen Heap and Jon Hopkins have released their new song, "Reckoning".

Despite being friends for over three decades, "Reckoning" is the first song that Heap and Hopkins have ever co-released. After appearing on a joint BBC 6 Music interview, the pair wondered how they'd never previously collaborated, leading Hopkins to return to an old track and invite Heap to build on it with her voice and perspective.

"Reckoning" was first previewed to the public when Heap performed at The Roundhouse earlier this year. She was joined by Hopkins on stage, describing the moment as "a mini rave, just very joyous."
