"I managed to beat the odds": Master Peace announces second album if i don’t love you, who will ? with new single "ONE of ONE"
London artist Master Peace has unveiled his new single “ONE of ONE” and confirmed details of his forthcoming second LP, if i don’t love you, who will ?, due out 2 October.
The track, produced by Jeremy Schmett and Imad Royal, is out now via Big Family Music. “ONE of ONE” continues the genre‑blurring sound that has defined the South East London artist’s rise. He has previously cited everyone from Blood Orange to The Strokes to Paramore as an influence. Romance and modern relationships sit at the heart of the songwriting.
The single arrives ahead of a busy live stretch. Master Peace recently completed a European tour with 5 Seconds of Summer and played two shows in Australia with Young Franco. He has just announced a headline show at Reading’s Face Bar on 25 June, plus three UK dates in Bristol, London and Manchester as part of the Everywhere At Once festival. Those shows run from 26-28 June.
The forthcoming record follows his 2024 debut How To Make A Master Peace, which earned him an Ivor Novello Rising Star Award, and this year’s EP Stupid Kids. That collection, released in February, saw Peace open up about growing up with undiagnosed autism and ADHD, being written off by teachers and labelled “a stupid kid”. He has since spoken frankly about that period. “Yeah, I am a stupid kid, and I left school with no GCSEs… but I managed to beat the odds,” he said.
Now, with if i don’t love you, who will ?, Peace enters a new chapter. The record’s tracklist includes “save your love xx”, “new boyfriend”, “falling in love with your friends” and the recent collaboration “Love Hate (feat. Thomas Day)”.
