
Hotel Lux share Christmas single 'The Carvery"
Hotel Lux have released their brand new festive single, "The Carvery", which is as much an ode to Nigella Lawson as a sardonic take on Christmas spirit.
Hotel Lux released their acclaimed debut album Hands Across The Creek earlier this year, and this festive single follows recent album-bonus-track, "Vice".
"Our contender for Christmas number one. Last year we were challenged to muster up a Christmas tune in a day at RAK studios. We wanted to appeal to that Christmas nostalgia, a bit of Slade, a bit of The Pogues. This year we’re releasing it for all the world to stream. Let’s toast Nigella"
The band are due to hit the road for a short run of dates next month including stops in Nottingham, Glasgow, Manchester, and Leeds. Tomorrow (1 December), they play at Oslo in London.
