Hetta Falzon signs to Matt Maltese’s Last Recordings On Earth and shares "Freckles"
Manchester-based singer-songwriter Hetta Falzon has shared the new single, "Freckles", as her first release on Matt Maltese’s label, Last Recordings On Earth.
“I think we all have a human in our lives who will always have a hold on us. For me, it’s my year 9 situationship. That’s who this song is about. Somebody I will probably always make excuses for and no matter how much I move on, when I see them, I am right back where I began,” Hetta Falzon says of the track.
Recorded live in just four takes with collaborators badbadbad, she adds: “There’s so much history and so many layers emotionally within this song that I knew the only true way to capture it would be a live recording, as the song takes on a new dynamic journey every single time I perform it.”
"Freckles" is out now via Last Recordings On Earth.
