Helena Deland shares new song, "How Do You Like Me Now"
Montreal artist Helena Deland has released her new single, "How Do You Like Me Now".
"How Do You Like Me Now" follows Deland's 2025 release Altogether Unaccompanied, Vol, and comes just ahead of a North American tour run supporting Hana Stretton later this month.
“I wonder to which extent the authors of posthumously published diaries were writing with a vague audience in mind," Deland says of the track. "Here, I’m convincing myself that a person I admire, very much still alive, has written everything down in their notebook in the hopes of it being found. When that day finally came, they’d say ‘That’s right. There I am. How do you like me now?’”
"How Do You Like Me Now" is out now on Chivi Chivi
