Headie One samples Flatbush Zombies on new single "Martin's Sofa"
Headie One has finally given fans the full version of "Martin's Sofa", which samples the instrumental from Flatbush Zombies' "Palm Trees".
Over the past month Headie One has been teasing the release of "Martin's Sofa", a fan favourite that leaked last year. After referencing the track in December's "50s" single by rapping "The fans calling for "Martin's Sofa" / It might be the first single from my second," Headie One has given the track an official release, complete with a Nathan James Tettey-directed video.
The new song is produced by M1onthebeat, and samples Flatbush Zombies' "Palm Trees" instrumental.
"Martin's Sofa" is named after a longtime friend who helped Headie One in his formative years, and just before Christmas, Headie One visited his old friend, and decided to sort him out with a new sofa.
