Beabadoobee has announced her upcoming album, Pylon, and shared new single "Sun Has Set".

Pylon is the follow-up to Beabadoobee's 2024 album This Is How Tomorrow Moves, with "Sun Has Set" introducing the collection of songs that started as diary entries. . “A lot of the songs on this record are things I wish I could have said to someone,” she explains of track. “This song has this petty tunnel vision—it’s like, I hate you. You’re gonna stay here and listen to how much I hate you. Because I never got to say that.”

Pylon sees Beabadoobee embrace a sharp rock sound that she cites as influential throughout her music. The album, produced by The 1975's Matty Healy and George Daniel, combines elements of classic grunge, midwest emo and ‘90s radio rock. It also features a stacked list of collaborators within the alternative rock scene, including Paramore singer Hayley Williams, Turnstile singer Brendan Yates, Deftones singer Chino Moreno, Title Fight guitarist Shane Moran, and Pinegrove singer Evan Stephens Hall.

Beabadoobee is set to debut songs from Pylon on the Powerlines Tour, her biggest tour to date that will feature her first-ever headline shows across North America, the UK and Europe throughout this autumn and winter. The Powerlines Tour kicks off 1 October in Connecticut, with stops at Madison Square Garden, The Kia Forum, The O2 Arena and more.
