
Happy Mondays part with vocalist Rowetta after three decades

Happy Mondays have announced that they are parting ways with vocalist Rowetta after 34 years together.
In a statement posted via social media, Happy Mondays announced that "Rowetta will no longer be performing with the band." In her own post, Rowetta said: "So many beautiful messages from everyone. Thank you so much... 2024 was amazing & thanks to everyone for the support & love. I’m really excited for next year….All of it!"
The band's last release was the 2007 album, Uncle Dysfunktional.
