Hana Stretton shares new track, "From"
Ambient-folk producer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist Hana Stretton has released "From", the final single from her upcoming album, tiarn.
"From" follows previous singles "Stove" and "Before This", and sees Stretton use classical and electronic arrangements to express a desire for connection.
“I made "From" as a dark storm rolled over," Stretton explains. "I opened all the windows and recorded it with my dog Roo asleep next to me. I used a hairbrush for the guitar, played some synth and a tiny harp. I realise now that it's about weathering our own storms without hardening. To keep reaching for warmth and kindness in our stubbornly sharp world.”
tiarn is released on 7 August
