Halle to star in Pharrell Williams and Michel Gondry’s coming-of-age musical
Halle Bailey has been announced as having a role in the forthcoming musical film from Pharrell Williams and Michel Gondry.
Michael Gondry (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Science of Sleep) will direct the musical based on a script written by Steven Levenson and Martin Hynes (Toy Story 4, The Magician's Elephant).
In the "coming-of-age musical set in Virginia Beach in the summer of 1977", with a story inspired by Atlantis Apartments, where Pharrell Williams grew up, Halle will be starring alongside Kelvin Harrison Jr. (It Comes At Night, Luce) and Da'Vine Joy Randolph (Ghost, High Fidelity).
Halle Bailey is set to star in an untitled Pharrell Williams project with Universal Pictures.
