Hak Baker links up with Toddla T on new single, "Task Master"
East London’s musician and poet Hak Baker has released “Task Master” as his first new release since the politically charged debut album, Worlds End FM.
"Task Master" was written with producer and friend, Toddla T. Speaking of the release, Hak Baker says: "Yin, Yang. Ups and downs are synonymous and if ya don’t know how to ride them both then you’re finished. In the words of my friend Tom, nothing much going on round here, that’s why there’s always crime…but you got to bore your own light and never give up. That’s the most important factor. Life is the Task Master. What doesn’t kill ya make you harder. R.I.P Tom".
"Task Master" is out now. Hak Baker will be taking over Somerset House this Summer, as he headlines the series on 20 July. For more information, visit somersethouse.org.
