Guided By Voices cancel Evanston New Year's residency after Rob Pollard fractures knee
Guided By Voices' Rob Pollard has fractured his knee, and the band have announced that they'll no longer be playing their New Year's residency shows in Evanston due to the injury.
Next week Guided By Voices were due to play four nights at Evanston's SPACE in the run-up to New Year's Eve, but yesterday (20 December) on socials, the band announced that the residency will no longer be going ahead due to Rob Pollard's fractured knee.
Guided By Voices announced the cancellation with an X-ray of Pollard's knee, writing, "Bob has fractured a knee. Let’s wish him a speedy recovery. Unfortunately, the Evanston shows in December are canceled. All tickets will be refunded."
