GROUPLOVE release new cut "Francine"
"Francine" is shared alongside a video that continues the narrative from the double-single “Hello” / “All” released earlier this year.
Of the new single, GROUPLOVE shares: “"Francine" is a feel-good summer jam…is it summer yet? It started as a vibey drum loop that Ben, our drummer, came up with and transformed into what it is now. Everything in life is so temporary, so go out and be whoever you are right now. Live in the moment and while you’re at it, pick flowers with Francine if you’re lucky enough to know her.”
The video for “Francine” was directed by Isaac Deitz, who also directed the videos for “Hello” / ”All”. The band takes us on an adventure exploring various Atlanta attractions including Piedmont Park, Georgia Aquarium, Central Atlanta Props and on a Mulligan Swing at a carnival.
Produced by Grammy-winning producer John Congleton (Death Cab For Cutie, Wallows, St Vincent), GROUPLOVE’s sixth LP and first release since signing to Glassnote Records, I Want It All Right Now emerged from a period of intense transformation for Hannah Hooper and Christian Zucconi, a married couple who are principal songwriters and lead vocalists for the band.
I Want It All Right Now due out 7 July on Glassnote Records, and is available to pre-order now.
