Grimes says she plans to "put out one more album" and then focus on "things that are more helpful to people"
Grimes has shared that she plans to do "things that are more helpful to people" after putting "out one more album".
Yesterday (18 October) PAPER posted a new interview between Grimes and M.I.A. where they discussed politics, religion, spirituality, technology and more, and during the conversation, Grimes revealed that she wants to do "things that are more helpful to people" after her next album.
Grimes told M.I.A., "I'm probably going to put out one more album and then I'm going to do things that are more helpful to people."
M.I.A. responded by revealing her thing "is going to be affordable housing. I want to dedicate my life to that for the next five, 10 years." Grimes then said she's "literally working on a housing bill in Austin, right now."
In December last year Grimes first revealed she wants to move into other industries after her forthcoming album BOOK 1. She wrote on Twitter, "I’m not quitting music, but def changing my main day job after BOOK 1."
Last month Grimes gave some updates on her BOOK 1 album, revealing that it's "done" and she's "deciding format/tracklist". Grimes also said that the album will feature songs by her AI girl group NPC.
In August Grimes appeared on Bella Poarch's Dolls EP track "No Man's Land".
