Greg Freeman unveils new song, “Cahokia"

26 August 2026, 20:42 | Written by Kayla Sandiford

Greg Freeman has released "Cahokia", the opening track from his upcoming album, All Set The Bone.

"Cahokia" is described as the "thesis statement" of All Set The Bone, serving as a metaphor for the way that we all become victims and participants within a cycle of consumerism, environmental anxiety, and authoritarian threats presented within contemporary society. The title refers to an American civilisation that at one point thrived, but eventually vanished during the Middle Ages.

Last week, Freeman performed two sold-out shows at MOTH Club in London. He'll continue his live run ahead of the album's release, with European festivals scheduled to close out the summer before he tours North America throughout autumn in support of All Set The Bone.

All Set The Bone is released on 2 October via Transgressive/Canvasback
