Greentea Peng shares new single, "Stones Throw"
Greentea Peng has shared "Stones Throw" as the latest single taken from her forthcoming album, TELL DEM IT’S SUNNY.
The track is accompanied by a video directed by long standing collaborator ABOVEGROUND, and was shot in Latvia.
"As soon as I heard the song I had a feeling that we’d be taking the video production close to home in Eastern Europe. I felt a sense of nostalgia and after a deep conversation with Aria about what the song means to her and the world we see it in everything just ticked the boxes. We shot for two days, starting early, all on film in the cold Latvian rain. Shashlik for lunch, wine for dinner and an intense shot list throughout the day. Out of all the videos we’ve done together, I think this one stands out to me the most. She was completely locked into her character. it was deeper than music," explains ABOVEGROUND.
"Stones Throw" follows the previous single, "One Foot", and “TARDIS (hardest)”, which marked Greentea Peng's return after a two-year hiatus.
TELL DEM IT'S SUNNY is set for release on 21 March via AWAL, and is available to pre-order now.
