A GoFundMe has been launched in support of Nation of Language’s Ian Richard Devaney and Aidan Noell following the loss of their daughter, George Margaret Devaney.

The GoFundMe was launched by collaborator Penina Warren, with a goal set for thirty-five thousand dollars.

“As you likely know if you’re here our dear friends Aidan & Ian suffered an unexpected tragedy this week, losing their daughter George Margaret Devaney who did not survive after arriving early at 22 weeks,” the description reads.

“While they work through the shock & grief of the situation, a number of people have reached out asking how they might be able to help support them through this painful time. Several have sent flowers or meals already, which is incredibly kind for so many to have done so quickly. We’ve now set up this page specifically for anyone who would like to help offset the financial burden that often comes alongside a sudden medical episode & end of life costs (ER visit / Hospital stay / Ambulance / Recovery / Cremation, etc.)”

“Any help you can give, either financially or by sharing this with anyone else who might be looking for a way to support, is greatly appreciated and will hopefully help in giving them less to worry about as they focus on how best to move forward.”

So far, $25,467 has been raised, with donations from over 270 people. Donations can be made to the GoFundMe here.
