Glasgow quintet Tanzana detail debut EP, Etched In
Tanzana have announced their first EP, Etched In, and shared new single, "Without A Sound".
The band — formed by singer Freya Talbot, guitarists Lily Findlay and Sarah Dunn, bassist Katie Hare, and drummer Karolina Skinderskyte — have teased the EP with previous singles "Covet" and "Pulse, Pose, Position", with "Without A Sound" arriving as the third reveal.
Speaking about the track, Talbot explains: “‘Without A Sound’ deals with the connection to the art you make and the frustration caused when pushing yourself to your limit. Ultimately knowing it’s the one thing that keeps you going.”
Ahead of the EP's release, Tanzana are scheduled for a run of UK live shows, which will include appearances at Wilderness Festival, ArcTanGent, Manchester Psych Festival, Edinburgh Psych Festival, Twisteralla, and more. This is off the back of a tour supporting Madra Salach earlier this year, as well as slots with Bleech 9:3, Cliffords and Lucia & The Best Boys.
