Geese spark fan speculation after wiping Instagram and updating website
Geese have cleared their Instagram feed and updated their official website, prompting fans to speculate a new album is about to be announced.
The Brooklyn-based band wiped all posts from their Instagram account earlier this week, shortly followed by a redesign of their official website.
While no official statement has been issued, the sudden changes have led to rumours on social media that a new project is on the way with Reddit users offering theories based on the group’s earlier activity. Among the circulated rumours is the possibility of new material produced by Kenny Beats, speculation that has been circulating since the beginning of the year, but has gained new traction in light of the recent social media activity.
One fan recalled attending a Geese show in Los Angeles this past January, as well as Winter’s solo performance in February, noting the recurring presence of producer Beats: “He knew the setlist ahead of time… The band also mentioned they were in LA recording the new record,” they wrote.
Geese’s last album, 3D Country, arrived in 2023. Since then, frontman Cameron Winter has shifted focus to his solo material with debut album, Heavy Metal a marking sonic shift from the band’s previous work. Winter recently performed on Later... with Jools Holland and is scheduled to headline London’s Roundhouse later this year.
