Records For Palestine has announced two online vinyl raffles to raise funds for Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP), with over 200 artists and 27 record labels pledging support through prize donations.

The raffles are held via Crowdfunder. They are split into two categories and will run concurrently over the next two months, with 47 prizes available to win. One features a collection of records across alternative, rock, and electronic music, while the other features releases from artists representing jazz, soul, hip-hop and global groove music. In addition to Fontaines D.C, Kneecap, Nilufer Yanya, artists including Ezra Collective, Billy Bragg, Yussef Dayes, Lambrini Girls, and Alfa Mist have made contributions, in addition to labels such as Heavenly, Partisan Records, Cooking Vinyl, Alcopop, Gondwana, Brownswood, Habibi Funk, and more.

All profits raised will go towards the vital work of MAP, an organisation which provides immediate medical aid to those in need across occupied territories in Palestine. Discussing the initiative, Records For Palestine share: “Many artists have been involved in fundraising and raising awareness from the web to the stage. Records For Palestine provides another way for artists, labels, curators and music fans to pledge support, allowing us to raise funds, whilst also giving artists and labels a platform to stand in visible solidarity with Palestinians.”

The prize draw will take place on Thursday, 7 March. Winners will be contacted by e-mail and announced online within 3-5 working days of the draw. A valid UK postal address is required for entry.
