Fontaines D.C. cover Bring Me The Horizon and Nirvana on Triple J Like a Version
Fontaines D.C. dropped in to Australia’s Triple J radio station to record a Like A Version session, and have shared a cover of Bring Me The Horizon and Nirvana.
The Irish band performed a combination of Bring Me The Horizon's 2013 track, "Can You Feel My Heart" and Nirvana's 1993 classic, "Heart-Shaped Box" for the Australian radio station Triple J’s Like A Version.
"It was Grian [Chatten]’s idea initially and I think the sound of [“Can You Feel My Heart”] — the kind of electronic elements and just the general vibe of it — reflects stuff that we were touching on on our last album Romance," explained guitarist Conor Curley. "So it seemed like a good place to start, and it’s a moody, beautiful song."
Fontaines D.C.'s standalone single, “It’s Amazing To Be Young” with the limited edition 7” vinyl featuring new b-side “Before You I Just Forget” is out now.
