Font unveil new song, "Punish Task"
Font have released "Punish Task", the latest preview of their upcoming album, American Bully XL.
"Punish Task" follows lead single "Texas" as a darker, glitch-textured taster of the band's second full-length collection of songs — which lean into the spirit of both Texan songcraft and experimentation.
Speaking about the track, singer and guitarist Thom Waddill says: “The song is about the relationship between dark and light, rage and euphoria. It’s about betrayal and grief and feeling condemned to forever pick at a bleeding scab. The angry dark underside of nostalgia’s fake coin.”
American Bully XL is released on 13 November 2026 via Acrophase
