flowerovlove announces debut album MINI SKIRT WARRIOR and shares “KISS KISS KISS”

The record draws its title from an alter ego the singer has constructed, treating clothing as armour for the passage from girlhood into adulthood. “A lot of this album is based on first times,” flowerovlove explains. “First times falling in love, first times getting to know yourself, first times falling out of love, first times realizing girlhood is so important.”

Her main studio collaborators on MINI SKIRT WARRIOR include Skyler Stonestreet, who has written for Dua Lipa and Ariana Grande, and Pom Pom, who has worked with John Legend and won a GRAMMY for Best R&B Album. The three of them worked together on “KISS KISS KISS”. The sparkling track leans into a young girl’s romantic fantasy, with lyrics that picture dinner dates, winter embraces, and a ring on a finger. Other contributors to the LP include Amy Allen, Steph Jones, Steve Mac, and her brother Wilfred Cissé. It also features previously released singles “In My Victoria’s Secret” and “American Wedding”.

The album announcement lands as flowerovlove prepares to join Horan on the UK and European leg of his Dinner Party Live On Tour. The run opens on 22 September at Utilita Arena Birmingham and includes two nights at The O2 Arena in London before moving across mainland Europe and closing with four nights at Dublin’s 3 Arena. She has already played a string of 2026 festivals including Coachella, Governors Ball, and OUTLOUD in the US.

Beyond music, flowerovlove’s profile has grown steadily in fashion circles, with recent appearances at shows for Louis Vuitton, Dior, Miu Miu and others. Her songs have drawn attention from high-profile admirers: SZA has shared her music on Instagram, and Elton John called the rising artist personally to offer praise.
