FKA twigs launches EUSEXUA WORLD radio show on Apple Music Club
FKA twigs has announced EUSEXUA WORLD – a new radio series airing on Apple Music’s new live global radio station, Apple Music Club.
In her debut Apple Music Radio show, FKA twigs will give listeners a rare inside look at the creative process behind her music and art. Across the series the show will include several carefully crafted DJ mixes featuring artists who inspired her new album, EUSEXUA, including techno heavyweight Dr. Rubinstein, queer rave icon LSDXOXO, underground experimentalist Eartheater, album collaborator Koreless, and more.
In the inaugural episode, Koreless – the lead producer on EUSEXUA – provides listeners with an insight into his musical inspirations.
"I think that when artists talk about their inspiration, sometimes it can be so literal, it can be another superstar or a show that they've seen but for me, inspiration comes in energy and it comes in community and so I think by opening up my fans around the world, the community into the energy that's been created around this project, hopefully people can understand where I'm coming from more with my message and with the album of EUSEXUA," FKA twigs explains.
"These mixes have been made by some of my favourite artists and producers, my partner, my make-up artist, my hairstylist and more in my inner circle. It’s the music that has inspired the creative world that we have built around the album — from the mood boards for styling to my choreography. 'EUSEXUA WORLD' chronicles the journey to create EUSEXUA."
